Since mid-march the 45 employees at RAMBØLL’s office in Køge have enjoyed the beautiful surroundings of the new domicile.

The new office has satisfied the urgent space requirements and allowed an extension of the staff to deal with large projects for clients such as Danica Ejendomme, Greve Municipality, Junckers Industrier, Faxe Bryggeri and Topdanmark, and construction projects and energy projects in many municipalities.

The office was built with the following clear environmental objects:

to create an indoor climate with the optimum thermal, atmospheric, acoustic and illuminating conditions;
to minimise the consumption of electricity, water and heat;
to use natural materials with a long durability.
The environmental objects are attained through specific environmental initiatives. The good indoor climate is due to a combination of highly insulated window panes with reduced solar heat and a ventilation system with high heat recovery. Furthermore, a solar heating unit – performed as an integrated solution in the roof surface - is expected to supply hot service water to the entire building.
